Role: Telesales & Delivery Driver
Location: Long Sutton, Somerset
Hours: up to 32 hours per week (including some flexibility for peak periods)

Harry’s Cider is an award-winning family business, with a passion for creating delicious, artisan craft cider grown, pressed and packaged at Littlefield Farm. Set in the heart of cider country, we are immensely proud of the cider we make, and our core values of heritage and sustainability. Alongside producing our range of traditional, sparkling, fruit and mulled cider, we also welcome visitors through our cider shop, taproom, tours, and events.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and personable individual to join our team in a combined telesales and delivery role.

The Role

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role combining telesales, account management, and delivery of our cider to trade customers. You will be a key point of contact for our customers, helping to maintain strong relationships while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
The role would suit someone who enjoys being out on the road, takes pride in customer service, and is confident in building rapport with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Telesales & Customer Management

• Proactively contact existing customers to take orders and maintain regular communication
• Build strong relationships with the on-trade, farm shops, and retail customers
• Identify opportunities to maximise order values and promote new products
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service

Delivery & Logistics

• Picking orders, loading the van and unloading stock safely and efficiently
• Plan and manage delivery routes effectively
• Deliver orders to customers across the region in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure accurate order fulfilment and maintain delivery records

Sales Support & Brand Representation

• Act as an ambassador for Harry’s Cider, representing the brand positively at all times
• Provide feedback from customers, and liaise with the office and production team
• Assist with maintaining visibility and positioning of products in-store where appropriate

Operational Support

• Assist with warehouse organisation and stock handling
• Support stock checks and basic inventory management
• Help with general business tasks during quieter periods

Person Specification:

Skills:

Essential:

• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational skills and reliability
• Confident using phone and basic IT systems
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physically fit and able to handle lifting and manual work

Advantageous:

• Previous experience in a similar role (e.g. brewery dray driver, delivery driver, or telesales)
• Knowledge of the food & drink or hospitality industry
• Experience dealing with trade customers (pubs, bars, retail)
